After seeing (and loving) the movie Avatar, I became excited by the idea of creating models of the various props and creatures and to possibly make some of those available here as a run. With this in mind, I thought it best to start this thread and find out first what others have either already done, are currently working on or just have a wish list to share? Anyone at all working on a Na'vi Banshee Bust? I'm inspired enough to do many things, but one of my main goals is Jake's Banshee and luminescent foliage from Pandora's forests!
I wondered what you guys loved in the movie and what you'd like to see offered here at the RPF? I have seen a few official prop replicas out there such as 1/1 scale Na'vi daggers and a toy line, but little else. It would also be a lot of fun to see people doing personalised and life-like Avatars of themselves, but more as physical busts/prosthetics rather then the lame paintshop jobs I've been seeing on the net.
Anyone planning a run on anything Avatar?
Please let me know your thoughts and help get this thread seriously packed out with ideas!
