As some of you already know, I aim to create 1/1 scale Jurassic Park animatronic dinosaurs for a temporary outdoor environment for the purpose of attaining personal knowledge in the world of animatronics. I would like my 'practice' attempts at doing dinosaurs to be based on the Jurassic Park designs as these are my fav dinosaurs, and wondered if Universal would have a problem with this? This ' practice park' will be for my own purpose and not for profit, but I would still like to create video clips of the models in action and post them on my website and Youtube. I would like to do this animatronic outdoor diorama for many reasons, but mainly to learn how to do outdoor animatronic dinosaurs that can withstand harsh weather conditions (heatwaves to downpours and freezing weather) and also be completely believeable in regards to movement and behaviour. Once I've attained all the information I need from these models, I will then be ready to move onto my own dinosaur designs for a public park. For now, I'd like to do my favourite JP models for the private park as I may never be able to put them on show in a public park legally (unless I pay huge royalties ). If anyone has any idea about Universal's copyrights or how it all works, please let me know. I have included a pic to give you an example of the environment for my animatronics. ;D ;D ;D

If you were to make a dino it doesn,t matter which! Universal or anybody else don't have the legal standing for royalties or anything else they didn.t invent dinosaurs or animitronics it would be none of their business A JP tyronosaurus rex is the same as a distinct T Rex as any other dinosaur You could display them in your garden or in their studio lot as you have as much copyright on dinosaurs as they have
