There seem to be mixed feeling about the new Superman movie, but I actually really loved it! I thought Brandon Routh was a great choice and the sequences in the film were fantastic, especially the plane rescue.
The theme music had an interesting spin, and was so relieved the film makers used the original score throughout the film too. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the idea of Superman's son having powers. In fact, is having a son in the franchise such a good idea? I thought one of the things that made Superman unique is that he's the only one, and is seen by the world as a kinda god-like being. I think it should be kept as it is, and keep him the lone saviour.
If they do another film, I hope Routh and Bosworth will come back. I dread a recasting situation. Any comments on this?
