This thread will focus on a 2ft wide (wingspan) Tie-Fighter from the original Star Wars trilogy. It'll likely be a static model that I can just hang from the ceiling, but it would be great to get this baby flying too somehow. ;D
I thought about adding transparent/colourless wing panls to the sides of the ship to get the lift needed for flight. In all my flying models, I plan to add a small camera to help create neat videos for my websites, forums and Youtube.

Which type of Tie-fighter is it? I thought there're several versions of this including Vader's Tie-fighter ship? Post some pics, I can see from that what it'll be. Cheers!

I think that's called a Tie-Interceptor? ;D So that's the model you're doing eh! I actually prefer the wing configuration on this anyway. How will you get it to fly though? I can't see any way for it to obtain lift?
