See the ongoing process of my ID4 Mothership model. I will start with a smaller model to make sure I have all the proportions and everything just right, then proceed onto my 3ft version. I plan to make it in resin eventually and add fibre-optics.
In one of my other threads, I am discussing the creation of mini 2 inch City Destroyers... these are to be for the underside of this Mothership model.

This is a model that's not available on the market so it'd be great to see this one complete and up for grabs if you intend to sell any? Maybe you could make some of the Destroyers seperate from the Mothership as if they're being sent to enter Earth's atmosphere! You could maybe use clear rods attached to the Mothership and to the sides of the Destroyers to hold them suspended in air.  |

As you may be aware, I'm doing my City Destroyers for now (alongside the Hammond cane) including a 2.5 ft dia version to hang from the ceiling. I don't know exactly when I'll proceed with this Mothership, but it will get done.
The Troop transport is something I like too, but it'd be the last one I do as I like the others a lot more. ;D

If you're adding dozens of 2 inch destroyers to your Mothership model, it must be huge! How big are you doing it exactly and how will you display it?  |
