I am planning to build an artificial tree out of re bar, hardware cloth and cement. It will be designed after a large oak tree and it will be a permanent fixture in a business I hope to get up and running. My question is to anyone who might be familiar with such a prop. When I complete the tree with leaves, most likely plastic or silk, how do I maintain it. The leaves will have a tendency to collect cobwebs and dust and I know that it will have to be cleaned periodically. Should I design it where the leaves can come off or should I just go through on a periodic basis with a duster and maintenance the prop in that fashion.
