I know the Stargate SG1 Zat guns are probably a bore to some people after all this time they've been around, but I couldn't resist doing a thread on my WIP Zat project. I still cannot decide whether to do a closed or modifed open display piece (as if ready to fire), and the colours I'm not certain about yet after all the research I've done. I'm having to clean up my rough Zat gun before I can mold a neater piece for assembly and painting. It's going pretty well, but taking so much time and is very tiring with all the sanding I have to do. Let me know what you think and post pics if you have one of your own.

An open version would be cool, don't think anyone's done that yet. Can you do a plasma bolt coming out? It could be cast in clear resin with a blue tint.

I don't think I'd bother to be honest, I'd rather just display it as it is. I have so many other things I'd like to build, so can't spend too long on the gun. I may still do it in an open position, but not firing.
