It took me a couple of hours to paint and weather the whole thing. I like to use chalk alot in my weathering. So most of the rust technique and the dirty look is done with chalks. I personally like the dirty look on the Rebel fleet ships. They had to piece their ships together with whatever they could get their hands on and most of it was junk. The busts I have collected from e-bay and the RPF. I need to find the Han Solo one to finish my collection of the Old Trilogy characters.

Great stuff, and I never thought of using chalk before to create these effects. Excellent results! ;D

Great stuff, and I never thought of using chalk before to create these effects. Excellent results! ;D Chalks are a great way to give a nice weathered look as shown on the Falcon, that has to be one of the best Falcon weathers I've seen in a long time. Tamiya make some nice "chalks" actually they come in the same case as eyeshadow and are applied in the same way.
